City Tourism of group by Lugo in coach hire with driver

You can rent a bus in Lugo for trips in the city or in Lugo Province. Due to the limitless tourism options, we’ve selected a few of them, such as La Muralla (The Wall), which surrounds the ancient city Lucus Augusti with a 2.266 meter (7 foot) Roman wall. This immense fortification is one of the biggest of its era and dates from the third century. La Iglesia de San Domingos (The Church of Saint Domingos), situated in La Praza de San Domingos, is currently linked to a convent occupied by Augustine nuns. Even though renovations, additions, and buildings partially obscure it, the church retains its original gothic architecture.

Golf Travel and Tourism

For those tourists who wants to golf or for tour operators or travel agencies that organize golf tours, the province has three clubs: Club de Golf Balneario de Guitiriz in Guitiriz with 9 holes; Club de Golf Aguas Santas in Pantón which is the best club in the province with 18 holes and Club de Golf de Lugo with 9 holes in the city of Lugo on Santa Marta de Fixos s/n with natural lakes and beautiful trees.

Santa Eulalia de Bóveda

Just a few kilometers from the city of Lugo there is an unparalleled collection of monuments from the late Roman era that has been declared a National Monument. This building has a rectangular base with a small pool in the middle; the building also has a cupola on top. The paintings on the vault, which are some of the most important murals of the late Roman era (from the end of the fourth century) have been well preserved, and the beautiful painted birds can be seen in all their majesty after almost two thousand years, which is something of a miracle in such a humid place.

The best vistas of Lugo are from the city"s beautiful coasts. You can start a tour in Ribadeo, which is full of modernist architecture. Then take highway N-634 towards A Coruña; about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Ribadeo you"ll find the famous Cathedral Beach (Playa de las Catedrales), a beach where the erosion of the sea has produced strange rock formations all over the place. We recommend planning a visit at low tide so that you can access all of the enclosed grottos.

You can take a coach rented with driver downtown to Ancares Nature Park (Parque Natural de los Ancares), which has a peaceful atmosphere that"s ideal for taking walks in the fresh air and relaxing while observing the flora and fauna, including the bears that sometimes come down from the mountains.

What to see during your tour in Lugo with a rented minibus with driver

If you want to rent a bus for an excursion or trip that originates or terminates in Lugo, we suggest including these stops in your itinerary:

Centro del Spa del Gran Hotel de Lugo (Spa Center of the Gran Hotel in Lugo)

The spa has a separate entrance from the hotel; you don’t need to be a guest at the hotel to access the spa. It’s located on Ramón Ferreiro Street in downtown. You won’t regret giving yourself the gift of a day full of massages and wellbeing treatments here.

Jazz’n Beer

Enjoy Lugo’s nightlife at this bar. This establishment has two stories, each with its own bar. The lower floor is a bit cozier and has sofas while the upper floor also has sofas but is more open and has windows. This enchanting locale is found on Bispo Basulto Street.

Plaza San Marcos

Recently opened in downtown Lugo. You can enjoy the gardens in the back, the beauty of the fountains, decorative plants, shrubberies, flowerbeds, and diverse trees, such as plum trees and magnolias, streetlamps, and benches. A peaceful, comfortable place.

Restaurant Pulpería El Museo

Located across from the Provincial Museum of Lugo City, this restaurant is famous for its octopus dishes. This traditional spot has a bar at the entrance and about ten tables in the dining area. So it’s small but still worth visiting.

Bar A Fundación

Located on Rúa Nova Street, this is the best place in the city to enjoy some delicious tapas (traditional Spanish snacks/appetizers) according to what we’ve seen on Google. The décor is fantastic; it’s very modern with lots of red color due to the red lamps and wooden furniture. At nighttime the music and lighting change and this place becomes one of the most stylish places to get a drink.
