15/11/2022 Rating by Alli Littlejohn from United Arab EmiratesFirstly, Presheen was not answering my whatsapp messages or calls on the morning of the booking, which is unsettling after paying all the funds upfront. All I wanted was a confirmation of the booking and the drivers details would have been great too, but instead there was no communication whatsoever. The bus he had sent really was not in the condition it should have been especially not for the amount of hiring fees he charges. The seats were literally all coming off and there was an issue with the engine starting once we were leaving the first vineyard. There was a tyre puncture on our way back into Cape Town along the freeway (which we all know can happen and is an accident) but the way the incident was handled by Presheen was not professional. He had offered to arrange another driver and a bus but it would take +-45minutes!!! Now, let me paint the picture - after sunset in the outskirts of Cape Town on the side of a freeway petrol garage is really not where I want me and 12 other friends to be especially as 70% of us are women. We declined the offer as that was not safe and arranged Ubers, who managed to be there in less than 10minutes. This was at an extra cost to us and I believe we should have been refunded by Presheen but he declined. Whilst we were waiting for the Ubers to arrive, we were not so pleasantly made aware of the condition for all of the tyres and have since been told, by lawyers, that the state of the tyres (a video was sent to Presheen) are ILLEGAL and that the bus was not road worthy. I am grateful we all walked away from this untouched and safe but I do not recommend his services or attitude and feel he is playing with people lives. ---------------- ANSWER FROM TRANSPORT COMPANY: I did apologise to the customer and explained that tyre burst are out of our control. We arranged for another vehicle to pick up the group that would have taken 30 minutes to get there they 1st refused as the vehicle was half way there and the vehicle turned around and then they asked for the vehicle to come and again cancelled. The vehicle has the roadworthy test done 2 months ago and there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. The customer wanted a full refund or he was going to complain. Once again I do apologise. Regards PJ

It was a bit unclear around the finalization and paying process which took place offline and direct. Nevertheless, the assigned vehicle and driver from Cape Town Coach Hire was excellent. In reality, I would rate 6 stars but only had the option of 5.

When I originally booked it, it was booked for Franschhoek ticket office and then I changed it to Drakenstein. However the driver didn’t seem to get the memo and we went to Franschhoek so just be super clear when getting on board the bus! Other than that no complaints - he arrived on time, was very professional and the bus was comfortable :)
