Pushkar is 3 hours from Jodphur and from here it is 2 hours further north to Jaipur.
Jodhpur is on the edge of the Thar desert and from here you can go deep into the scorched red landscape of this famous desert. It"s a barren spectacular drive to the historic town of Jaisalmer, which is a launch point for camel rides into the sand dunes. Jaisalmer is poorly connected by transport so you probably won"t want to finish your tour with car with driver here. You can do a northern loop of Rajasthan and finish at Jaipur or head back to Jodhpur (4-5 hours)
